My son had a Russian Nanny as he was two months premature and I worked full time. At one point he could understand most of what is discussed in Russian and could talk with confidence in Russian. Since going to Kindergarden he is losing his ability to speak and understand Russian due to lack of use.
I believe a second language is important to learn.
His proficiency level would be a beginner. I couldn't say what areas he needs improvement because I do not speak the language myself.
I would like my son to get lessons at least once if not twice a week.
Able to have fun and still advance my son's language capabilities.
My son is well behaved and enjoys learning.

I lived in Kazakhstan for 5 years in the mid-90s. I used to speak Russian quite well. I have forgotten most of it due to lack of practice.I need it again for my work so I would like to 're-learn'. I need to speak and read-not write.
