I am a college grad with only one semester of French. I would like to acquire proficiency for travel and teaching abroad, and to be able to communicate and understand effectively. My daughter who is 6 years old wants to learn French. I feel it is very important to learn a second language and I have chosen French as it is a universal language in Europe. I also have a French background but unfortunately , never learned the language. I would like her to learn the language once a week to start with and as she progresses we can go to twice a week. I work full-time so our availability in person is evenings at 7:00pm or Saturday @ 2:00pm or anytime on Sunday. If we do an on-line lesson, my daughter can be available anytime of the week from 6:30pm-9:00pm or Saturday from 1:00pm-6:00pm or anytime on Sunday. I am looking for a teacher that enjoys working with Children and also who can maybe teach her the French culture. Thank you very much, I look forward to your response.

I am trying to pick up as much of the language, both written and spoken, as I can before I go off to college in the fall. I'll be majoring in French, as well as taking German, Russian, and possibly Mandarin Chinese, as well as American Sign Language. I'm hoping that I can turn these skills into a good, rewarding career.
