I am looking for a well qualified Mandarin Chinese language tutor, to teach me to both speak and write Chinese (Speaking is the most important) as quickly as possible. Beginer in mandarin. I am learning this language for my work and to converse easily with peers and workers in the factory.
I need further development in my grammer and conversation and also to formulate technical terms in mandarin.
I travel extensively out of Hong Qiao Shanghai and can only be available in the vening via chat or email. Weekends I am free on Saturday mornings and also sunday mornings.
I can dedicate about 1 hour daily by chat/email/sk ype and also 4 hours on saturdays and 3 hours on sundays in the mornings.
I am interested in the technical and business mandarin terminologies and conversation styles
I have a daughter in Year 8 who also will join me to learn mandarin in the weekends only.

I plan to move to Russia next Fall and plan to later enter into a university program focusing on Russian language and literature.
I studied Russian in New York for about 6 months in 2000 and visited the country briefly in 2002, but much of what I learned of the language has been forgotten. I can read the cyrillic alphabet, but my vocabulary and grammar would be at the beginner's level.
I would like to study from December of this year (2009) to at least August of next year (2010), and I'd like to start with 2-hour lessons twice/week, possibly increasing lessons to 3 times/week.
Would need a teacher who is reliable and committed enough to plan lessons according to my needs. Also would need help in acquiring appropriate materials for study: textbooks and so forth.
