my teacher should be the one who hv indepth knowledge of

My husband and I are interested in taking French because of a potential job transfer to Paris. He took French for three years in high school, but has not spoken it since. I took three years of Spanish in high school and one year in college.
We would love to take a class together but understand if our differences in levels would not make it possible. Our best possible days are Friday, Saturday or Sunday, but a Tuesday or Thursday class after 7:30 p.m. might work.
We would love for our teacher to be personal, not too formal.

i WOULD LIKE TO LEARN FRENCH DUE TO MY TRAVELING ABROAD. I HAVE MANY FRENCH / ENGLISH SPEAKING FRIENDS AND WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM. I TOOK TWO YEARS OF FRENCH IN HIGH SCHOOL. I WANT AN INSTRUCTOR WHO IS FOCUSED ON HELPING ME TO BE ABLE TO CONVERSATE IN ANY SITUATION, BE IT TRAVELING OR JUST SOCIALIZING. I WANT TO UNDERSTAND SENTENCE COMPOSITION AND STRUCTURE. I WOULD LIKE TO START ASAP. I PLAN TO ATTEND CLASS ONE DAY A WEEK OR MORE DEPENDING ON THE COST. I AM VERY EAGER AND VERY INTERESTED. MY NEXT LANGUAGE TO LEARN WILL BE SPANISH.

I am an absolute beginner. I have always wanted to learn French. I can speak German enough to get around, ask directions, etc., but I never had the opportunity to study French in school.
I am a very visual learner. I found this out when I was taking Spanish lessons years ago in Chicago. It was a strictly aural class, and I needed a visual reference. My German teachers in high school and college were very visual. I like to see the words.
I would like to dedicate 10 hours a week at least to learning the language.
The qualities I need in a teacher and lessons are mainly to cater to my need to see what I am saying.

I will be a senior in college next fall and am in desperate need of language help. In order to meet my graduation requirements I must pass intermediate french in the spring. I have taken french off and on throughout my education and spent all of last year living in and working in Paris. My level of french is poor but I get by easily enough. I am looking to brush up my skills and work on writing. I plan on working hard and soaking up everything I can this summer.
