I'm a student of upper 6 at Queen Elizabeth College and i have taken Hindi as my main subject. the problem is that I'm sort of weak in Hindi and i desperately want to get an A in this subject. i think i need special improvement in essay-writing and literature. I want to learn Hindi because of my interest in the language and of my family background (I am married to a Hindi speaker).
My proficiency level is beginner, yet not full beginner, but slightly advanced. I can make full sentences, I can read and write in Devanagiri script (not fluently, though) and I have the basic vocabulary.
I want to improve with my grammar knowledge, my conversation skills and my vocabulary.
I would like to attend lessons twice a week in Chandigarh.
I require a teacher who has taught English speakers before and who knows of how to teach Hindi to a foreigner with English/Germa n speaking background. The teacher has to be able to explain the (completely different) structure and grammar of the Hindi language to me so that I with my European language background can understand. Teacher should thus also know English well.
