I am a graduate student in paleoanthropo logy. I hope to spend most of my professional life excavating in East Africa. I want to learn Swahili to communicate with my colleagues there. Mid level spanish - 5 years originally school but 1 semester of college intermediate Spanish more recently -
Learn to improve future career flexibility - interest in basic conversation and knowledge needed to communicate in technical/eng ineering areas - power plant
No knowledge of the other languages.
Interested in 6 hours per week split among 3 languages. Have a full time professional job so will not have a not of time for drilling, etc. outside of class but do spend two hours 4 days per week in the car.
For purposes of developing an appropriate accent, I am interested in learning from a native speaker face to face. May occasionally request lessons via phone if travel intereferes.
Prefer to set up lessons weekday Monday (best) - Thursday after 6:00 pm
