I'm am a beginner in Mandarin. I currently work at a dual-language school in Chinatown, New York City where many of my students are from China. I am willing to dedicated a few hours per day to diorect instruction while in Taipei this summer. I would like my teacher to be patient with a good sense of humor and fluent in englsih so that I can ask detailed questions about the grammar. I am currently a student learning Spanish in school and I am interested in learning Chinese. Not only will it help me when start appling to colleges but I am also very interested with the Chinese customs and launguage. I have no experience with the launguage and know nothing about it. I hope to find a teacher who is located in Pittsburgh and even better in the Oakmont or New Kensington area. Even though I am compleatly unfamiliar with the launguage I will be very dedicated and devoted to learning Chinese.
