I took some French in High School (back in 1982) but missed a lot of class due to illness. I currently work for a French/Italia n company, so I work around a lot of people that speak French. I have studied a little on my own but find that I have trouble 'speaking' it. I also find myself hesitant to speak it for fear of 'butchering' the pronunciation .
I have to deal with people that do not speak English very fluently and find that I wished I knew more French.
I would like to able to have a grasp at speaking it and later go for the more advanced grammatical/w riting.

I lived in russia for 8 years and germany 7 years where i studied french for 1 year.
I need improvment in all categories in french and i want to study spanish because if you live in florida you need to know spanish. In french because i keep forgeting everything.

I am a beginner of the use of French. I have taken courses but remain at a rudimentary French level. I am married to a French national, we have one small daughter. I would like to learn his language to share in his culture and family relationships in France, also I desire to help teach our daughter to be proficient in French as well as English. I really need improvement in all areas of the language but hope to be able to conjugate properly with verbal communication in past and future tenses. The time spent on the lessons would depend on the cost and location. I am hoping to find someone patient,profi cient, and reasonably priced.
