i want to learn dutch because my boyfriend lives in Belgium and i'm there quite a lot. and i'm planning to move to belgium after school. I know some dutch but i dont know if i would call it the basics or so. i know some things, but not a lot. so i think i'm a beginner. I need to learn hos to say the words and grammar. and i could spend a lot of time on this if its needed. And if i have to i'd go to belgium and learn it there. Im looking for someone who knows dutch and can teach and make people understand. I think it'll help if the person who teaches me is a bit patient as well. because i have a really hard time lerning languages.

I am looking at relocating to Europe (Belgium/Holl and). I am a beginner and looking at gaining the basics to be able to converse, write and understand the grammar. I would look at not less than 1 hour/wk face to face with take home work and especially access to Dutch speakers (male and female) outside of class that wish to meet to reinforce the language skills in different situations (work/art gallery/cafe/ restaurant etc). The qualities I would like in a tutor are native language skills, empathy for beginners and a no-nonsense approach to keep me on my toes!!! A deep immersion program would be best with take home notes to follow up... Your ideas are welcome. Regards Shane Savage
