I took french when I was in high school, but haven't used it since. I have always wanted to learn to speak fluently, and want to live in France someday, though I want to speak the language well before I go there. I'll probably need review, so I'll start as a beginner. I could dedicate a few hours a week to my studies. I need someone reliable that has structured lessons.

I have travelled to France a couple of times and have picked up the most basic words, so I am a total beginner. I love France and the culture and I'm very keen to be able to communicate. I am travelling to Paris and Cannes in 4 weeks time. Unfortunately I have not given myself much time to learn...lack of organisation I guess. Thats another story:) I live in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney and am interested in intensive private tutoring before I leave...maybe 2 or 3 times a week depending on the rates.
I see myself as a reasonably intelligent person and am quite a quick learner, however I would like the teacher to be patient and understanding , as I find learning a new language very confronting.

I want to read, speak and write french at a professional or business level.
I would like to spend an hour or two a week in one session and also have work inbetween sessions that is corrected outside of class time.
I would prefer a tutor that is a native francophone from France.
