I am a first year mature student of Mandarin Chinese at Westminster University, London. It is a 3 year program. In summer 2005 and summer 2006 I plan to spend one month, perhaps a little more, in one of the following Manadrin speaking cities: Singapore, Beijing or Shanghai. I require a language course to supplement what I am learning at university but more importantly to focus on conversationa l listening and speaking.
I need to do this every day for at least 2 hours.
I am a disciplined learner and need to make great progress during the summer breaks. Xiexie nin.

I am a complete begginer although i spent some time in Taiwan but i can not speak anything other than a few words. I would like to work in China in the future and also conduct business. i would particularly like to learn to read, write and speak. i would spend a few hours a week studying and more later when my post graduate studies are finished.

I have lived in China for 1 year and learnt a little mandarin, as i am going back around febuary 2005 to live there for good and will be starting business in China. I would say i am still a beginner and need to improve all around language skills. Depending on the price i would like to do an hour or two every night.
