I am gujerati, however have been brought up in England. As a child I could speak fluent gujerati, but for the last 10 - 15 years due to lack of practice, my confidence level has decreased. I can make sentences but would only class myself as a beginner.
I got married 18 months ago and my in-laws speak more gujerati than my parents. I want to be able to hold a proper conversation with my husbands grandma. ALso, we are going to Indian in January 2012 to visit my mother-in-law 's family and they can only speak in gujerati. I want to be able to communicate with them.
