The reason why I want to learn thai language because I would like to improve myself and can cope into their culture.

I have visited Thailand on a number of occasions [holidays].I intend to return 2-3 times a year,hopefull y retiring in Thailand in 5-6 years time.I wish to learn to learn the language so that I would be able to hold a conversation with a local in their own language, rather than expecting a local to speak English. My wife and I are conemplating retiring to Thailand but, not for a while yet.
It's not so much improvement as relearning from scratch.
