I am learning Mandarin for career advancement, travel purposes, and personal interest.
I believe that I am an intermediate student, because I have studied Mandarin for 3 years at Queen's University (reading, writing, speaking).
I feel that I need particular improvement in conversationa l Mandarin, as my speach (speed, pronounciatio n) is the weakest (behing reading and writing).
I would like to dedicate 1 hour/week of instruction, but I can put in 2 additional hours per week of personal study/homewor k.

I am in my 4th year at McGill, and currently in third level Mandarin. I have a lot of spare time this year and would like to improve my oral skills, beyond the realm of the classroom.
