As of now i know only 2 languages; filipino and english...oth er than that i do not know anything. I am already in college taking up business management majoring in applied corporate management. In business you meet a lot of people from different countries, having different cultures and languages. Most companies are looking for employees who could communicate with these people, and so as a future company personnel, i think that I need to learn other languages. It's some sort of a preparation. Besides, I am not doing anything this summer, so might as well do something productive like learning a different language. About the teacher...wel l...I am looking for someone who really knows what he/she is teaching and also someone who is not so strict.

I am looking for a native Mandarin speaker for my tutor to improve my Mandarin proficiency. I can speak basic Mandarin, and seek to be intermedilate level, especially focusin on improvement of pronunciation , increase of vocabrary and common expressions, enhancement of influency of coversations. I can speak a little conversationa l Mandarin, but have mostly forgotten the language due to lack of practice. I would want to re-master it for career advancement. My focus would be on the areas of conversation, reading and writing, especially in the business setting. I'm willing to dedicate 2 hours every week (prefereably weekends) for Chinese lessons.
I 'd like a potential teacher to be knowledgeable in a wide range of topics so that our conversation will be as broad as possible.
