I was born speaking both Cantonese and English. I'm very out of practice - I can understand still but have difficulty speaking Cantonese. I would like to be able to talk to my family in Cantonese again and for a trip to Hong Kong in 2009. I just want to learn conversationa l Cantonese and be able to talk about what I do for work and life. My husband would like to learn as well and he has no background in speaking Cantonese. I would like to dedicate 1-2 hrs a week.

I am looking for a tutor for my nanny, my husband and my one year old daughter in Cantonese. I am fluent and grew up in HKG and would like for them to be able to speak the language. I am looking for someone who can teach both toddlers and adults. I was thinking of having them learn one hour a week.

I just got married to a chinese lady who is from Guangzhou china and would like to commiunicate with her better. I have very little knowledge of the chinese language. Its a good thing her English is better then my chinese. We also want children and I want them to know their mothers language and would like to converse with them in it also. I also think it would be an asset with the growing asian population in this area.
I have A few hours to give towards the learning of chinese/canto nese per week.
My teacher should have a sense of humor but know we are there to learn chinese. Also he/she should have the learning materials that will be needed to teach a beginner at beat learning chinese. And reasonable rates are nice also...
