I'm not very confident in having conversations in Japanese, though I love the rock music of Japan and have been listening to it since I was in 4th grade. Because that was all I listened to and preferred, I've developed well pronunciation for Japanese words, thanks to years of singing lyrics in Romaji. I also enjoy foreign films form around the world, but particularly from Japan. Unfortunately I can't read any kanji and I can barely read hiragana or katakana.
I would love to learn Japanese because in the future I plan on living in Japan, also I am already very interested in the culture and learning the language by self-teaching , but that isn't working too well for me. I'm very determined to learn more! It's a dream and I'm hoping to become involved with it.
