I am a beginner in both Mandarin and Japanese. Even though that I know how to right traditional Chinese, I have a hard time listening and speaking Mandarin. As for Japanese, I had no classes before on this language. I want to learn foreign languages because I want it to help me in my future career as well as vacations. I need to improve mostly on conversations in Mandarin and need to learn as much as possible in Japanese. I am willing to dedicate at least 20 hours a week to learn each language, including 5-10 hours of tutoring sessions. I am looking for teachers who speak are native speakers to each language. That means I will need a teacher for Mandarin and a teacher for Japanese. Teaching experiences preferred.

I am a beginner level, for I am just recently thinking about learning Japanese. I am learning Japanese because the language has interested me. I have lived in the United States for a number of years and thought my conversation was passable. But after I recorded myself speaking, I realized I have formed bad speaking habits over the years that hinders the clarity of my speech. I want a teacher, preferrably a native speaker of English, who can help me identify problems in the way I talk, come up with techniques to overcome these difficulties, and give me a chance to work them out through conversation practice.
