I am highly proficient in Urdu and Punjabi (Speaking, Reading, Writing) as I am a poet/lyricist as well. I have a different approach for teaching a language especially when one is at the beginner level; its more hand-on and reference based. I can teach the script very well also.

I'm a beginner. Would like to learn to converse with my boyfriend of a year in Urdu, and be able to understand his family when they are speaking in Urdu. Also, would eventually like to teach my future kids. I would like to spend maybe an hour a day learning, but would follow the recommendatio ns of my teacher. I need a patient teacher that can start with the very basics and get me speaking and understanding and hopefully someday writing.

Hello,
I would really like to learn Urdu. I only know about 5 words! I plan to travel back to Pakistan this year and would love to be able to have conversations with my in-laws.
I prefer a female teacher in the Metro Denver area with lots of patience. I learn better in person, but am open to half and half in person/intern et/phone if necessary.
