I have two reasons for learning German: 1. For myself since I've always wanted to be fluent in a language other than English, I feel it a nessecity in this day and age, and 2. I'm in culinary school right now and since there is so much diversity in this profession and so many opporitunitie s for visiting new places and meeting new people I feel that I'd be better prepared by having a few languages under my belt. I would also like to learn Spanish and French at a later date, but for right now my main focus is on German.
I' m a beginner in German. I know the numbers, the colors, days of the week, pronunciation , a few verbs and present tense conjugation (bringen, singen, kommen, können, etc), pronouns, extremely basic grammar, and a small vocabulary of everyday words.
I am usually completely free over the weekend. Both Saturday and Sunday, I'm also looking to have some spare time in the comming months since I have very few classes scheduled for next semester. I'm not certain with my work schedule but my boss is flexible and I've already requested morning shifts so that I can have my German classes in the evening. This can be discussed in detail if you would like to get in touch with me as a potential student.
I've often tried self-study and it really hasn't worked out very well. I've come to realize that I need person to person instruction. I would like a teacher that preferable is a native speaker of German, and if not at least very qualified to teach it. Also, if possible video chat or voice chat would be a plus in a teacher, as I often find myself being able to read a language but cannot understand it when heard or when spoken to me. I ask that my teacher be through, patient, and fun to work with.

I am a serious student of the holy Bible. In order to study the Word of God more profoundly, I want to learn Greek & Hebrew. I believe that there is still much undiscovered revelations in the Holy Bible which due to language barrier can not be fathomed. I am more involved in Christian Apologetics and before starting my missionary journey I want to equip with every spiritual blessing that God will pour out on me.
I want to begin learning with Greek as records of Jesus Christ in New Testament are in Greek. I would appreciate help from any teacher who can assist me.
