Would like to learn Russian, beginner to intermediate level now; never had any formal classroom training but have been studying with friends and family for three years. Husband's family came Odessa, Ukraine in 1979, and all speak Russian. Would like to expand my knowledge of the language, but get very nervous and frustrated when speaking with his family, as I need to understand grammar and they cannot explain it well. I am a native English speaker and fluent in Spanish, butso far have found Russian difficult.

Currently I work part time and go to school full time, so I am not really sure how much time should be necessary to dedicate to the lessons, but I am eager to learn for my personal interest in the culture as well as for career advancement.
