Hello, I'm a beginner looking into finding a private tutor. I'm interested in learning because I've always found the language fascinating and have been around it for a while now. I'm second generation Japanese, so considering that I have a multiple-cult ural background will help in understanding and appreciating learning the language as well. My boyfriend is Bosnian and I would like to be able to communicate with his family. He's nice enough to teach me words here and there and help me, but he's not much of a tutor =p I'm looking for someone who can work with me once a week for about an hour, who can help me out. I've tried learning on my own, but I've realized that I really need someone to work with me - I'm more of an interactive person. Though being around my bosnian friends helps some, I'd like someone who's willing to sit with me that has lessons planned out. I'm a piano teacher, so I do know how important it is to do the homework and dedicating time to doing work as well as knowing what it is like for the teacher to be taking out time and energy to teach as well.

I am an intermediate Spanish speaker. I took spanish for several semesters in college and in high school. I want to learn Spanish better because I live in Florida and I would like to be able to converse with the large Spanish speaking population. I feel I need improvement with my tenses and my comprehension . Generally, I want overall improvement of my speaking and listening skills. I want to dedicate several hours a week to with a tutor as well as exercises on my own. I m looking for a tutor who can work on a flexible schedule, as I travel alot, and one whom will push me to maximize my learning potential. I would also like for the tutor to have their own office or classroom.

I studied Polish in the Army. The course was 1 year 6 hours per day. However that was 13 years ago. I would like be fluent again for personal as well as business reasons. I am becoming a loan officer and there is a great job for a polish speaking person. I have lost a lot of vocabulary and am trying to study daily. I need private lessons to take me to the next step.
