I speak Norwegian to my son, Gunnar who is now 4.5 yrs. Would like to get a discussion group going, as there are NO Norwegian language schools for young children in Ottawa. Also would be open to discussion groups for adults. Have been speaking Norwegian now for 15 years (advanced - good pronunciation , ok grammar, excellent vocabulary).

To begin with,I am looking to learn french because ottawa is the nations capital and you need to know french if you are looking to have a good career. As I am employed right now a store manager I see the asset of being able to speak french. I can barly get through a conversation. I understand when people talk to me as long as they speak slowly. I would consider my self a beginner. I would like to improve speaking french. I would dedicate minimum twice a week in my lessons so I could get the grasp of it quicker. The qualities I am looking for in my lessons/teach er would just be patience and easy going.

I want to learn Arabic mainly because I am interested in it, but also for career advancement. I plan to work for the UN and I am currently working for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees. I am fluent in Hindi and French, but I know that Arabic is one of the UN languages and thus would like to learn.
I am a beginner and I want to learn mainly conversation, that is my prority, and further I want to learn how to read and write.
I can dedicate as much time as necessary however I work 8:30am - 4:30pm every day.
I want someone who is interested in the language, is passionate when they teach and has an interest in wanting me to do better. Corrects me when I am wrong, and makes sure that I understand the language
