I was born and raised in Taipei, went to grad school in the United States. I would like to learn more foreign langugages, but now targeting Polish and Spanish as the priority. :-)

My interest in Japanese language/cult ure has come from incentive of friends, as well as for business-wise . I have been in Japan twice, staying for a month both times, and have visited friends all over the country. I have taught myself reading/writi ng Hiragana/Kata kana. I consider my proficiency level as beginner at both reading/writi ng kanji and speaking, which are the areas that most require improvement.
I would dedicate intensive time to learn the language, as I may need for regular business or holiday trips.
I'd be interest in learning the casual speaking as much as the formal.
