I want to learn to speak Slovak because my boyfriend whom I'm having a baby with, is Slovakian. I understand some of it since I have been with him for a long time and have attempted to learn the language on my own, but I can't speak it at all, therefore I consider myself a beginner. I want to learn the grammar and to have a decent conversation in the Slovak language. I have been wanting to learn the language for so long that I am willing to put as much time as necessary into the courses. I don't mind having lessons in a group as long as the teacher speaks the language fluently and is qualified to teach the language.

I am very keen to begin learning Slovak. Over the last two years I have made some very good slovak friends who have introduced me to the country, the culture and outlook. Their english proficiency levels and willingness to communicate in my native tongue have been humbling.This has given me a genuine desire to try and learn slovak.
I am wishing to learn the language for myself. I would be able to dedicate 1 evening a week and expect homework. I would hope the teacher would be one that engages my interest, motivates me with progress, allows me to make mistakes and happy is to correct them.

I am a begginer so learning little phrases at present. I am willing to invest in alot of time and monez to be able to learn fluent as I wish to go over to Slovakia to work and live.
I have a girlfriend that is Slovakian and it is all well and good but I want to start from the beggining with a proper tutor who can explain in alot more detail etc. I can speak some sentences but as stated need to start from scrath and break it all down.
I do not mend if the tutor is male or female, I would like them to be experienced though.
