I would love learn the turkish language, it interests me, iv always wanted to learn another language fluently, i have been to turkey many occacsions and i think its a gorgous country, i love it. My boyfriend is also a cypriot turk which also inspires me more to learn the language. At the moment i know very very basic turkish i.e, merhaba, tamam, seni seviyorum, ne and numbers breifly up to 10 but im not too confident with spelling or prenounciatio n. I want to dedicate as much time into learning this language as possible but wont to have to pay a fortune to learn a language which you could pick up by yourself abit slower by being in the actual country for a while (which unfortuntatly not everyone has the money to do so ) The qualitys im looking for within my tutor are, friendly, easy to get on with, i can ask as many questions without feeling awkward or annoying the teacher by doing so, a teacher who can teach not only verbaly but also visualy ( i memorise things better by pictures or something to remind you of a word/sentence & what it means)

I wish to learn Turkish as I visit the country regularly, and do not know the language at all very well. I have friends there, that I would like to be able to have a conversation with in Turkish, rather than in English all the time. I also want to learn a new language as a challange. I would be interested in either online tuition or in person, which ever would be able to help me the most.

My family is buying property in Bodrum this year and I will be staying there for 6 months next year from May-October. Therefore I want to make the effort to learn the Turkish language. I have visited Turkey on 5 occasions and we are currently deciding whether we want to make a permanent move to Turkey. This is my reason for wanting to learn and have been looking locally for a tutor who can teach a beginner. I would need to be advised on how many hours a week I would need as I do not know how well I would adapt to the language. I live in Benfleet in Essex so need someone who is in travelling distance and is of a reasonable rate.
