I am keen to learn Croatian, because I love Croatia! I have purchased a book together with CDs and I have only just recently became more dedicated. I know very basic words and pronuciation of the alphabet. Holding a conversation would be fabulous. I would like to dedicate once or twice a week to classes and actual practising everyday.

I am a translator, living and working in London and can speak French, German and Polish. I'm in Zagreb in October from 14th - 17th, and was looking for someone who can give me an overview of the language, mostly from a grammatical point-of-view (what with it being a slightly less complicated version of Polish grammar!). In the long-term, I would like to learn Croatian / Serbian, but don't really have the time at the moment!
Esse ntially, I'm really interested in Slavic Grammar and would like to learn a bit!

Profieciency level: Beginner. I have taken a CD course (Pimsleur Approach). I have been working with a Croatian office for 2 years and visit regularly. Although they speak excellent English, I am enjoying being able to say a few things in Croatian, and want to take it further. My purpose is purely for self-improvem ent.
I now need help to understand grammar (endings!!), sentence construction conventions and to widen my vocabulary.
I am looking for 1-2 hours per week, depending on ease of getting to location. I don't mind joining in a small group, or having some lessons 1-1.
Qualiti es I am looking for are that the lessons enable me to understand how to use the language (explanations ) but also that they are light and fun.
