My Grilfriend is finnish and has been in Ireland since 2000 but recently moved back home due to the recession here in Ireland and does not plan to come back here soon. I will eventually have to make the move but because the current economic situation arrived without warning, supposedly, i am forced now to learn the language if i am to gain employment in Finland! I have picked up bits and pieces over the last year or 2 but now i need to take it to the next level! I have to learn it proper!!! Its a tough language to learn because of the different alphabet but i do understand that its prodominantly phonetic! I really need help in this area!
If you could help me it would be great! Be it get lessons of you or maybe you know someone in the galway area that could help me! Even conversationa l finnish. Its the pronounciatio n im worried about. Hope you can help, Derek

I am trying to learn French for everyday conversation. I travel to Paris frequently. I have a *basic* grasp of grammar and vocabulary. I have poor pronunciation and VERY POOR ABILITY to understand spoken French. I need live one-on-one session to help me with that and gain confidence. Ideally, I would build the lessons twice weekly into my work schedule for on-site tutoring.

I have been living in Poland for the past two years and have learned some Polish here. Now I am returning to Ireland I would like to find a teacher near to my home who can help me improve. I would like to become fluent in the language because I will still be doing business in Poland and I would like also to do some translation work etc. My level of proficiency is intermediate I would say. I have good conversationa l Polish in that in most situations I can understand what a person is telling me and I can make myself understood to them. However my reading, writing and grasp of grammar are poor. I would envisage spending 2-4 hours per doing classes.
