My husband and I have been learning Portuguese in order to assist us with our missionary-ty pe work. We have not had the time we would like to be able to do suplementary learning, and therefore not really fluent. We have a good grasp of the language and have an adequate understanding , however we would like to improve in our conversation skills and grammar. We can only really afford, financially, one lesson per week each. We are willing to do homework.

I want to learn Portuguese, to be able to speak and understand my friends. I am at a beginner level. I feel that I would need no particular improvement, but I would like to learn how to construct my sentences properly. I would like to dedicate an hour per lesson, and then to learn from a study guide or book to learn from as well during the week. I am looking for a teacher who is patient and who will enjoy giving me lessons.
