I'm hoping to go to a language school in Japan for two years in 2014-15 and would like a teacher for one-on-one conversation practice and help with grammar. I have already been to Japan and was able to talk to people and travel with no issues with communication , but have forgotten a lot since then. I'd like to be able to have full conversation ability by 2014 before I start my language class so the transition is easier.

I am a 3rd year student at the George Washington University. I am looking for a tutor to help me in Mandarin Chinese at a beginner level. My program requires that I have 3 years of proficiency in a language. So I am looking for someone to help me get through all the required material for the 1st year of Chinese. Although I have a little bit of background with Chinese I need to be at a 2nd year level of proficiency by the end of the summer. I have course material and instructions for what/how much I need to know. I am looking for someone available on a weekly basis, easy to contact who would be able to cover all the course material with me by August.
