I am interested in learning the Vietnamese language. I would be at a very beginner level but have frequent contact with Vietnamese community members. I would like to have some mastery of the language -- at least an abundance of essentials and a good competency in general communication situations. I am an adult learner.
A reas of improvement: I want to start to learn the Vietnamese language.
Teacher qualities: Patience and understanding .Able to communicate both in English and Vietnamese.
Time allocation: Likely, lessons at a minimum of weekly but will defer to what the instructor says is most effective.

I am at an intermediate to advanced level. I received a degree in Spanish several years ago, but I would like to become fluent. Conversation, along with grammar, are my weakest areas. I would like to spend a few hours a week in conversation with a native Spanish speaking teacher that will help me to have confidence and become fluent.

I am a native English speaker who studied Polish for 2 years: 1 year at Harvard University with Prof. Anna Baranczak, and 1 year in Krakow, Poland with Stanislaw Medak at the Institut Polonijny of UJ. I am now living and working in the US, and would like to continue studying Polish so that some day I can return to Poland to pursue graduate studies or conduct research, or simply to live and work.
I would like to spend about 3hrs/week studying Polish, but this will depend on the cost of lessons.
I am seeking a teacher who is not only trained to teach Polish as a foreign language, but who is also knowledgeable of, and interested in, Polish literature and history, as I would eventually like to read Polish tests in these areas.
