I would like to learn Punjabi because I've grown up being Indian all my life, but never really devoted myself fully to the culture or language. I've made a choice to dedicate several months or more to polish the intermidiate knowledge of the language I already have. I want embrace myself and my cultural background.
My proficiency level probably around intermediate. I understand most verbal conversations but have trouble speaking the language. I speak in broken fragments without cohesive sentences.
I am looking for a teacher who is patient with me, and understands the dedication I have. I would also like a teacher to challenge me with assignments. A person who is as committed as I am.
I would like my punjabi to improve dramatically in speaking and listening.

I am a complete beginner. I have never studied Punjabi before but, I'm eager to learn. I want to become proficient as this will help add to my prospective career in police service. The area I wish to work has a heavy Punjabi population. My work schedule can be quite hectic and flexibility would be great. Time commitment will depend and a strong grasp on both English and Punjabi are desired.
