I just left Italy after having completed four weeks of Italian and traveled throughout Italy for another six weeks. I want to learn Italian to be able to communicate with Italians. I consider myself a beginner, but I know some Italian verbs and how they are conjugated in the present, present perfect and future tenses. My vocabulary, however, limits my understanding of Italian. I would like to expand my conversationa l Italian capability. I would like to have three or four hours of Italian instruction five or six days per week for at least two and possibly three weeks. I need a teacher who can recognize my level and help me to advance from that point on. I am a retiree and not a fast learner. Foreign languages are difficult for me to learn, however, I am willing to put in the study time required.

I started to study Italian via Rosetta Stone and need further personal instruction to advance. I am a beginner. I need to better my conversationa l and grammatical skills. I have married an Italian man that is unable to teach me. I need to learn to converse with his family on our next visit in August. I hope to have one or two lessons per week and can travel to you for each lesson.
