I can understand and read Marathi as i stayed in Maharashtra for 5 years, but my spoken Marathi is poor. My wife is Maharashtrian and i want to converse with her fluently in her Mother tongue, just as she does with me in Bengali. she will never feel homesick then! i def. need improvement in conversationa l Marathi.i can dedicate 1 to 2 hours daily on my learning.
i am looking for a teacher who will be understanding and can accept me as a beginner. i will appiciate equal dedication from him/her in teaching me as mine as a student.

Recently arrived in Pune and will be working here for 6 months with a manufacturing firm. Have no prior knowledge of any Indian language but would very much like to start learning Marathi. Actually here with another native English speaker who is in exactly the same situation so perhaps could arrange one class for the two. Interested in perhaps three one-hour sessions a week sometime in the evening after 19.00. Located in Anand Park , Aundh, Pune.
