I am wanting to learn Croatian in hopes of completing a certification course for TEFL. It's a program that allows people to teach English out of the country. I am definitely a beginner, but I tend to grasp things fairly quickly. I would need to be proficient in all areas of the language. As I've stated already, I am planning on taking a certification course which would require me to be so. I want to dedicate at least 2 days out of the week for learning Croatian, the rest I would spend on my own time studying. I would really enjoy it if my teacher would assign homework assignments along with the lessons and review. I would also like it if they possibly had their own materials handy to teach from; not necessary though. Or at least direct me on what/and how I should be learning the language. Thank you.

I am currently at about an Intermediate level in Spanish, but need to reach up to an Advanced level by August, when I will be attending a university in Peru and taking classes along with native speakers for three months. I feel that I need improvement in all areas, but particularly in conversation. I would like to do about 3 hours a week or so on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I am very eager to learn and since time is of the essence, I am looking for a teacher who will be able to rigorously prepare me on time for my travels this fall.

I am looking for a native Romanian speaker with proficiency in English to help me learn conversationa l Romanian in order to speak with some of my extended family members. (They live in Romania so I'm not able to learn from them in person but will be visiting sometime late in 2011.)
I would prefer to meet with an instructor once a week for 1-2 hours at a time. (Daytime during the week is best for me if possible.) I am looking for someone willing to teach primarily immersion-sty le in Romanian, but able to competently answer questions about grammar in English when necessary. Spanish is my second language so I do have some understanding of grammar in the Romance languages.
I am a very visual learner and need to see how things are spelled to remember them, so an accompanying text or worksheets when learning new vocabulary is essential, whether supplied by the instructor or something I can purchase online. I would like to learn both to speak and read/write proficiently in Romanian.

I want to learn Vietnamese to communicate with co-workers and friends. I know very little other than hello and how are you. I am a beginner but I am willing to learn with all my effort.
