I would like to learn Italian for my upcoming honeymoon, I'm planning to spend three weeks travelling around Italy and I'm very keen to be able to converse comfortably in hotels, restaurants and of course shops. I love Italian food so would really like to be able to roughly understand menus when I go out to eat. I go in two months so there isn't a great deal of time.
I'm a beginner but I'm very enthusiastic and love to learn. I really want to focus on general converstion - understanding others and knowing how to respond. I'm good at learning vocab but lose confidence when it comes to speaking foreign languages which is why I'm keen to focus on conversation and force myself to do it.
I'm fairly flesxible on time as I'm currently not working, a few days a week would be ideal, preferably not in the evenings.
I'm looking for a native Italian teacher who can help me learn some of the basics of conversation quickly, give me confidence in speaking Italian and teach me some of the cultural backgrounds to the language.
