Hello,
I am a South African. However, as a child, I moved abroad, and I have been living over seas for 15 years.
Now , I am planning on moving back to South Africa. In order to manage myself around South Africa in my field of occupation I would like to study Afrikaans.
C urrently i do not know Afrikaans.

I am completing this Learner profile on behalf of my English speaking nanny. Our son will be attending English schooling as from Jan'11 and I want to create an Afrikaans home environment since Afrikaans is the family's 1st language. Therefor I need to teach my nanny some basic afrikaans so that she will be able to converse in Afrikaans with our child. She will need to start at beginner's level, and I am looking at sending her for personal or small group private classes, once a week.
