I am a beginner interested in learning the Arabic language. I am doing this because I am sincerely interested in learning a new language will be deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan, late January 2007 and would like to be able to communicate and learn from the native people. I can dedicate nights and weekends as I am not taking any other classes. I am looking for a teacher that is a conversationa list, has a degree of patience, and will teach me of the culture. Also someone that can teach me the language that is representativ e of the Kabul region. My background is that I have a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and enjoy reading.
