Hello. I am interested to begin learning the Vietnamese language. I visited Vietnam last month. My fiancee is Vietnamese and fluent in the language. I want to learn the language so I may communicate with my future family. I am willing to dedicate to 1-2 days a week to this interest. I am learning the language because my son is adopted from Vietnam. I am in Shanghai this summer and am looking for a teacher there. I want to learn to speak Vietnamese. I have no background in Vietnamese and have never studied it before. My husband is Laotian, but he and his mother converse in Vietnamese. My goal is to be able to converse with them, at least on a basic level.
I work full-time, so I could only devote approximately 3-5 hours weekly to lessons.
I am looking for a teacher who is a native speaker or proficient in Vietnamese, and who is available to teach on weeknights or weekends.

I am a complete beginner, but have completed a 10 lesson audio set for learning Vietnamese.
My wife is Vietnames, and want to become conversationa l. I would also like to learn grammar and be able to read/write.
I would be able to dedicate a few nights a week, or some extended time on a weekend to my language lessons.
I need a teacher who can provide some structure to a learning plan. Also, someone who is patient on helping me in my pronunciation - both speaking and listening.
