I am a completely bilingual individual (french native, english second) that is very interested in learning the korean language because of StarCraft 2, a popular strategy video game which predecessor is the national sport of Korea. If you're a korean teacher however, you already know this.
I have 0 knowledge of the language at this moment. I can devote about an hour per day to the lessons. The qualities I'm looking for in my teacher is flexibility. It's not that I necessarily want a 'younger' teacher per say, but somebody that can adapt the language to modern life. I already know asian languages are usually very traditional in that sense and that's why I'd like someone that can make it easier for me.

We wanted to learn another language because its something different compared to the other basic languages other people like to learn. Our level would be beginner and we would dedicate as much time as needed to master this language completely and entirely. I am interested in learning Japanese, Korean, and in time, Mandarin Chinese. I have always been interested in Eastern Asian culture and would like to be able to understand and communicate in these languages.
In all three languages, I am relatively a beginner. I can read and write in Hangul, however, my understanding of the language is limited to a few phrases. In Japanese, I am able to have a basic conversation (Hello, nice to meet you, how are you, who, what), but I can read and write very little of the language. I have had a few Mandarin classes in the past, but I am still a beginner; I can only read and write three characters, and can have a VERY basic conversation in the language.
