I am studying Japanese at an intermediate level. I really want to speak and read Japanese better, both for personal and for professional reasons. In particular, I need to improve my conversation ability. I can dedicate 1 to 2 hours per week to language lessons and about 5 more hours per week to study on my own.

I am a school psychologist in San Jose that works with many Spanish speaking families and have been studying Spanish off nad on fjor the past two years. Las summer I studied for 3 weeks in Antigua, Guatemala. I am able to converse some but not fluently. I would like either private or small group (3-4 students)for approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours per week, preferably one time per week, after 3:30 in the afternoon. I would also like to travel more. My goals include learning to understand conversation, radio, TV in Spanish and to communicate efficiently. Reading and writing in Spanish is secondary but, if time permits, I would like to work on that also. I am interested in cultlure, education, art, current affairs and politics and would be most interested in conversstion in Spanish on these topics.
