I'am A beginner and want to learn Spanish to have a secondary language. I will dedicate how much time it takes to learn the language. I' am currently taking classes at my school and would like to participate in more classes for more one on one training. I go to school and intend on going to college for a career in criminal justice. Mid level spanish - 5 years originally school but 1 semester of college intermediate Spanish more recently -
Learn to improve future career flexibility - interest in basic conversation and knowledge needed to communicate in technical/eng ineering areas - power plant
No knowledge of the other languages.
Interested in 6 hours per week split among 3 languages. Have a full time professional job so will not have a not of time for drilling, etc. outside of class but do spend two hours 4 days per week in the car.
For purposes of developing an appropriate accent, I am interested in learning from a native speaker face to face. May occasionally request lessons via phone if travel intereferes.
Prefer to set up lessons weekday Monday (best) - Thursday after 6:00 pm

I am interested in learning several languages, but for now I'll focus on two.
Spani sh is essential to interacting with people in a day-to-day basis. I have taken courses in the past, but know no spanish speakers. Not knowing Spanish has become a barrier to communicating with a lot of people in my area.
I am a beginner, learning from Pimsleur Swedish Level 1. Scandinavian languages sound beautiful, and they are a challenge. I was tutored in Danish at my previous job, and have a Danish accent when speaking Swedish. I would like this corrected.
I need a teacher who is willing to record sounds on a voice recorder so I may practice pronunciation at home. They must be patient. I am a slow learner. I can meet most Saturdays. Grammar comes easily, but hearing and speaking are more difficult. I'd like to focus on hearing, speaking and pronunciation .

I am a beginner with virtually no prior Spanish experience. While I have always wanted to learn a second language, I now have opportunities for doing business in Latin and South America. Since I work in the medical field, I would like to learn terminology in addition to basic conversationa l Spanish.
I am not sure how much time I would like to invest, only because I do not know how much it will require to get me to a functioning level. However, I would expect to spend no less than 1 hour per day on the lessons/study . At this point, it is difficult to know how effective distance learning of Spanish can be, and how much lesson time is required. I am also considering attending an immersion program, though cost becomes more of an issue.
Reg arding qualities in a teacher, I believe understanding learning styles is most important. I am a very detail, task-oriented person, but like to be able to visualize the big picture of how a teaching method will be effective.
