Hello. I studied French in secondary school (35 years ago), obtaining Honours in the Leaving Cert. I would now like to refresh my knowledge of the language, particularly conversationa l French, which is extremely rusty. I would like to be able to travel to France and be confident of holding simple, everyday conversations in the language. Ideally, depending on tuition cost,I would like to have two intensive day-time sessions per week for 2-3 months. I live in Drumcondra but would prefer for the lessons to take place away from my home. I have no particular requirement for the teacher - except that he/she has patience! Thank you.

I am currently half way through a law degree and given the current economic situation I feel it would be in my best interest to study another language. My ultimate goal would be to obtain a Zertifikat Deutsch and BULATS/ZDfB.
I studied german for 6 years in secondary school, but truth be told I would have to classify myself as a beginner; most of what I have learned is long gone or extremely rusty.
I am not so sure about time dedication,th is would be heavily influenced by the style of teaching and opinion of the teacher, but I can give assurances that I am very eager to learn.
The qualities I would be looking for in a teacher would be patience and drive. I would also like if the person could be a little bit flexible; as due to my studies and work routine it would be difficult (but not impossible) to maintain a consistant time and day every week, but this can be worked around.

Hello
I would like to learn basic conversationa l Japanese by the end of the year as it's one of my goals for my job. I know nothing about the language aside from a few words that I learnt when studying Jujutsu so I'm an absolute beginner. I am looking to spend about an hour or 2 per week, preferably over the weekend some time.
I would like a patient teacher who is passionate about the language, teaches visually, understand Japanese culture and uses this in part of his or her teaching (this is especially important as I will be dealing with senior people in my company). I would also like a teacher who uses positive reinforcement as that is what I respond best to. I tend to ask a lot of questions, especially if I'm really into something so my teach needs to be able to field these without loosing patience.
I don't use written notes very well as my hand writing is poor, digitized notes and use of a computer as the primary source of teaching is desirable.
