Hello. I am hoping to achieve a degree in sign language. I have taken two ASL course at a community college in Dayton, OH. I recently relocated to Tampa, FL and am having a difficult time finding a school to finish my degree. Do you have any suggestions. I am a beginner. I picked up a little sign language from seeing others using it and from some children's books.
I would like to learn sign language to be fluent for career advancement.
I would like to dedicate most of my free time after work and between other classes to learn sign language.
I am looking to learn sign language thoroughly. Starting at the basics and gradually increasing my skills so that i am not rushing through, forgetting small yet very important lessons.

I am a technician at an independent pharmacy. We have several deaf patients, and I thought it would be nice if someone was able to communicate with them without writing everything down.
I have almost no familiarity with sign language. I know a few letters and words, but nothing that can be used to express a coherent thought.
A t the very least, I need to be able to ask basic questions related to cash register transactions and understand the answers. My ultimate goal is to be able to act as a translator for the pharmacist when counseling patients.
I could schedule as much as two hours a week for instruction, and would spend at least half an hour each day studying and practicing.
I am looking for an instructor that can tailor the curriculum to my individual needs, and who can work with my schedule. I work from 10:00am to 6:00pm each weekday, so I'd need to schedule the instruction for evenings and Saturdays.
