I am a retired Australian public servant and I am studying Mandarin to keep my mind active in my old age. My progress is slow but steady, however I really need conversation practice as I get no opportunity for it here in Australia.
I will be in Jakarta 17-31 October to visit my daughter who has been posted to Indonesia with the Australian government aid agency AUSAID.
I am interested in conversation classes with a native Mandarin speaker for 2 hours each weekday Wed 17th to Tue 30th October (10 days), preferably in the mornings (9-11 or 10-12), though the afternoons would be fine. Due to family commitments I am not available in the evenings.
I would prefer the lessons to be in my daughter’s place where I will be staying. However, I could come to you if necessary.
I have been making my way through Liu Xun’s New Practical Chinese Reader and I am presently working on Lesson 27 (Book 3).
