Hello Maryam,
I have been keen to learn to speak Farsi ever since I met my Iranian partner two years ago. He has been teaching me farsi words and says that I do learn quickly.
I wish to speak the language first and foremost because I want to communicate with my partner in his native language and with his relatives in Iran who only speak Farsi (dialect in Babol). We are also planning on visiting Iran in the near future and I would love nothing more than to communicate with his family.
I do consider myself a beginner as I have never learned the alphabet and the basic phonetics. My main goal is to understand and speak fluent farsi. I am willing to dedicate up to 3 hours a week to learn the language. I would also appreciate homework and other activities that would improve my new language skills. Patience, enthusiasm and a variety of teaching techniques is what I am looking for in a lesson and teacher. I am also hoping to commence learning as soon as possible and would appreciate to hear from you soon.

I am a beginner who is interested in learning the language for personal reasons. I need improvement on everything since I do no know the language and I am willing to dedicate however much time is needed. As for qualities in the teacher, I am not picky, as long as the person knows the language and can make me learn it in an understandabl e manner.
