I have spent a year in India altogether where I was learning Hindi through the method I call the chai shop school of Hindi. I have picked up the basics but am needing to consolidate what i have learned, improve my grammar and keep up my speaking practice now that I am back in the UK.
I want to learn because I intend to return to India and would love to be able to communicate with the people that I meet. I cannot read Hindi script and do not see this as a priority at the moment.
I am looking for perhaps an hour or two of lessons a week focusing on grammar, conversation and increasing my vocabulary.

I am a beginner in Italian (I have studied a little on my own with tapes) and am looking for a teacher who can give me good conversationa l Italian with a grammatical foundation.

Although my parents are from the Punjab and speak it fluently I find it very difficult to string a sentence together. I get embarrassed when my cousins can all speak this so well and i can't and my parents haven't exactly been encouraging. Whenever i try to speak punjabi they laugh so i guess you could say i'm a beginner. I'd like to learn the basics and get by at family functions; i know i will never speak like my parents but a little positive help would be nice.
