I am a Greek American. I learned to speak Greek in Greece when I was a child. I understand but I am having difficulty speaking. I am now 39 and I do not want to lose the Greek language. My name is Samantha and I'm searching for a Greek tutor. I've been trying to teach my self with CD's and work sheets I've found online but its very confusing and I'd like someone telling me if i'm pronouncing the words right. My family is Greek and i visit them every summer and for Christmas and would like to be able to speek the language so I would be able to comunicate beter. I'm at a biggining level but trying very hard to learn. I'm very commited to learing the language.

I am a beginner with a few lessons under my belt. I have a home in Crete which my husband and I will be retiring to in 18 months. I have time to study on a regular basis.
