The lessons would be for my daughter, Cory, age 15, who wishes to learn Korean as a foreign language requirement at her charter school. Her choice of the Korean language rather than perhaps Spanish is based on her strong interest in the Asian countries and cultures as well as a goal of using the Korean language in her career. She has independently studied from texts and online, yet is considered a beginner.
She would expect a minimum of one hour direct teaching per week in addition to assignments and practice outside of class. Her teacher should be somewhat patient but set expectations for Cory. Also a native speaker whom is able to impart not only the language but the cultural appropriatene ss of useage and accent.

The language I want to learn are Korean & Japanese. I am a beginner in Korean. I have been studying Korean for a few months and wants to get back on track again. I want to study either 1 or 2 hours per week depending on my schedule. As go for Japanese, I don't know Japaneses at all but wants to learn Japanese to visit Japan.

I am trying to learn Korean because I am Korean. I never took the time to learn Korean Properly when I was young. I regret not being able to converse in Korean fluently with my Parents and my Family. I would judge myself as a beginner even with my exposure to Korean.
