Definately beginner level. I currently have spent two summers in Ukraine working with English language camps and other mission organization. I have made many friends here in Ukraine and understand that if i want to continue my work here, I must learn the language. I am a beginner. I have not learned any Chinese. My good friend and I are interested in taking a Chinese course at the University of Minnesota but there is a time conflict. We really want to learn another language together. We both would have practical use for the language because we are in contact with a lot of Chinese speakers. We are willing to dedicate about 6 to 8 hours of class time per week. We are looking for a very good teacher with practical and useful learning tools or exercises we can use outside of the classroom. We are looking for a teacher with very good communication in both English and Chinese and finds joy in teaching and is able to teach effectively. A teacher that has a lot of experience teaching.
